Whether you are a postgraduate student, consultant, academician or senior pathologist, Pi Reels is your platform.

How to Record Your Reel
You do not need professional video equipment or a studio. A smartphone, a good idea and a few minutes are all you need.

For video contributions:
• Record in portrait mode (vertical video).
• Use a smartphone with a reasonably good camera.
• Choose a quiet, well-lit location.
• Keep the background simple and uncluttered.
• Speak directly to the camera and keep the conversation natural.
• Avoid excessive background noise or music.
• Short and focused contributions are encouraged.
• Please record in the highest quality available on your phone.
• Video length: 60-90 seconds (Max. 3 minutes preferably)

Tip: Don't worry about making it perfect. Pi Reels is about sharing knowledge and experiences — not professional video production.

You may also submit audio-only recordings, interview ideas or other suitable content.

• Brief description of your contribution
If you are submitting an interview or conversation, please also mention the names and designations of the participants.

Please do not include identifiable patient information, photographs, reports or other material without appropriate consent and permissions.

Contributor Consent
When submitting your content, please include the following statement in your email:

“I confirm that the video, audio, images, music, and other content submitted by me are either my original work or used with the necessary permissions, and that they do not infringe upon any third-party copyright or intellectual property rights.

I confirm that any patient-related information, images, or case details included in my submission have been appropriately anonymised to protect patient confidentiality, and that all necessary patient consents and permissions have been obtained, wherever required.

I grant Pathoindia permission to review, edit where necessary, publish, and share my submitted content on the official Pathoindia Instagram handle and other Pathoindia digital platforms, as part of the Pi Reels initiative.”
