Who am I ?

In labyrinths of cells where scavengers roam,
I gather but never quite make it home.
Born from a feast that was never complete,
I calcify secrets in layered retreat.

Mineral echoes in concentric array,
Round as a whisper, yet dense as a lie,
I linger where failures of digestion lie.

Name me—not disease, nor cell, nor mere scar—
But a signature clue to what’s gone ajar.
